We walked down to the the Grand Seas one afternoon and were so much happier with the envoriment that we decided to stay several days longer at the Grand Sease. We had a great time and the staff was wonderful."

"My husband and I recently stayed at your resort (Feb 21-28, 2010). We were with another couple and a little hesistant to arrive at Daytona Beach and Grand Seas for the first time. Reviews of the resort were mixed and we were not sure what to expect.
I can honestly say it was one of the best vacations we have taken. The resort may be a little outdated, but it seemed to be classic Daytona Beach. The newer resorts lacked the laid back atmosphere that Grand Seas had. (I visited another resort for their Spa services and although very nice, I prefer Grand Seas.)
Even though the weather was cool -- never a good day to spend on the beach--I'm not complaining. The only complaint I had was that the sofa and bed did not face the ocean.
One day we saw whales (NO KIDDING) as we were looking out to sea......and that night the local news said whales were sighted at another beach close by. We also saw dolphins - amazing.
The facility was very clean, the staff very friendly.
Grand Seas is a short drive from Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Orlando (DISNEYWORLD), and so many other attractions nearby. The restaurants in Daytona are wonderful as well.
We witnessed a little of Pre-Bike Week and enjoyed it very much. Everyone we met was happy to be there and we had no problems with anyone on Main Street or elsewhere.
My thanks to all who made our trip so nice and we plan to be back! I strongly recommend Grand Seas and Daytona Beach!
